I had to deal with a poorly maintained dehumidifier that had standing water, giving off an unpleasant smell—definitely not what I hoped for. Plus, dead insects in the bathroom fixtures and corners of the room were unsettling, which is less than ideal when you're trying to relax.

I had an amazing stay at Quality Suites Altavista, Lynchburg South! The room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a microwave and a fridge which were perfect for keeping our snacks. The breakfast selection was fantastic, with plenty of hot options including scrambled eggs and biscuits, making it an excellent start to our day.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially with the cozy King Suite and the relaxing outdoor pool where I spent some great downtime. The breakfast spread was decent, and the gym had enough equipment to keep me active, which I appreciated. Just a heads up, the carpets in some areas looked a bit worn, but it didn't take away from my overall experience! 😊

the air conditioning was old. but the breakfast had a great selection with biscuits & gravy. staff was really accommodating! the hotel was pretty quiet overall. they have an elevator which was super helpful!
